This year, The Electric Mine 2023 conference will be in North America and will run over three full days in Tucson, Arizona.
It is interesting that the mining sector is currently the oxymoron example of the energy transition – it is the supplier of the critical minerals required for decarbonization; whilst at the same time, the industry itself is under significant pressure to plan and progress its own energy transition.
The topic of decarbonization of the industry will be discussed in depth at the event with the program offering a platform for all stakeholders to exchange ideas on best practice within this fast-changing sector.
We are proud to be associated with this important event and for Thomas Jabs to deliver a presentation entitled: “Application of Intelligent Solutions for Increased Safety & Efficiency in IPCC Maintenance”. Thomas’ presentation will look at effective maintenance of mining equipment, which is critical for ensuring safe and efficient operations. However, the strive for efficiency and faster maintenance can sometimes lead to undesired compromises in safety, which is absolutely to be avoided. In order to address these challenges, TAKRAF Group have applied intelligent (and elegant) maintenance solutions leveraging on the ground experience of solving many of our clients’ daily problems. The presentation will provide a real-world view of some of these intelligent solutions that ultimately translate into increased safety, improved efficiency, and ultimately in significant cost savings for our clients.
We will also be present at the event with a booth with various TAKRAF Group colleagues on hand to engage with visitors and discuss some of the challenges and opportunities currently facing our industry.
