New production record achieved at large Russian energy complex

For the month of July 2021, a TAKRAF Bucket-Wheel Excavator (BWE), part of an integrated high-capacity material handling system, had dug and moved 1,236,000 m3 of overburden material – beating the previous monthly record that had stood for six years.

SUEK (http://www.suek.com/), one of the world’s largest integrated energy companies, recently achieved another mammoth production milestone at their Nazarovsky open pit mine in Russia.

An article regarding this achievement has been prepared in Russian by SUEK and can be found here; whilst an automated translation into English can be found here.

We kindly thank SUEK for the opportunity to make this article available.

TAKRAF is proud of its long standing relationship with SUEK and also of the efficiency and reliability of its mega-machine system that was designed and built more than 25 years ago and is still continuing to deliver value to its client.
