DELKOR India recently signed a tripartite agreement with Kalpataru and NMDC making it the licensor of the beneficiation technology for this important iron ore processing plant.
Kalpataru, founded in 1969, is one of India’s leading infrastructure and real estate companies in India with interests in power transmission and distribution, civil infrastructure, industrial projects and logistics – www.kalpataru.com. NMDC, incorporated in 1958 as a public sector company of the Government of India, is the country’s largest producer of iron ore and ranked sixth globally – www.nmdc.com. As a Navratna entity, NMDC has also been bestowed a prestigious status, given to only a few select Indian Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and as such boast enhanced financial autonomy.
The project includes not only the supply of technology but engineering, procurement, supply of process equipment, and supervision of the erection and commissioning of the 2.0 mtpa iron ore processing plant.
